Viewing the blockchain
All cryptocurrency related information gets stored in the blockain - every cryptocurrency has its own blockchain. The most common reasons why you would want to view entries in the blockchain are to:
- See how many verifications your transaction has had, when you are making a payment to someone else. With Bitcoin, this can sometimes take hours and you might need one, two, three or more verifications on a transaction to be completed before your transaction is deemed complete.
